Inflation big time. More than doubled in price in 3 years but my paycheck hasn't doubled. Insurance on my home and vehicles went up 40% this year. Said was because the costs have risen another 40%. We'll my paycheck hasn't gone up any. And government says inflation is being kept down to 3% so who is lying??

Been Heavy duty mechanic for 44 years, if caps go into the yolk that easily, they will start to walk and wear out your yolk in no time: they should be pressed in with resistance. I would not re use that yoke

I see comments about the bearing caps sliding in easy... that is perfectly fine. The only time when that is a problem is when there is less friction vs. inside the bearing.... which can happen down the line when the grease inside the bearing is used up... but trust me at that time the bearing cap will be fused well with atmospheric rust/scale. So that point doesn't make any sense... just saying
